Traditional plastic backed bed pads play a vital role in healthcare; however, they have long been scrutinised for their environmental impact.

The Reynard Greeny® Disposable Compostable Bed Pads have been developed to help alleviate the burden of standard plastic backed 5 ply tissue bed pads on our environment. Whilst we recognise that it will take more than this to overcome the problem, we decided that an absorbent, certified compostable alternative was a great place to start.

How to dispose of used Greenys

If contaminated with bodily fluids, place them in a clinical waste bin.

If not contaminated, place it in a compost or green waste bin. If composting/green waste facilities are not available, place in general waste.
